Abu Dhabi

Participating in the community's Eid al-Fitr celebrations and embodying the joy of the occasion, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality decorated numerous main and secondary streets, medians, and bridges within and outside Abu Dhabi Island with thousands of illuminated structures, signs, and greeting messages. This spreads joy and happiness among community members across its geographical scope.
The municipality used thousands of illuminated pieces and structures used in Ramadan decorations for Eid al-Fitr. These structures, along with greeting messages and Eid greetings, were combined to decorate bridges and streetlights at many intersections on main and secondary roads inside and outside Abu Dhabi Island, to celebrate this precious occasion. Municipality teams installed hundreds of illuminated structures bearing greeting phrases and words commonly known among members of the Emirati community, such as: "Happy Eid," "Eid Mubarak," "May you have a blessed Eid," "May you be among those who return," "From those who return safely," and "From those who return and are victorious," completing the aesthetic scene of the Eid decorations. The Abu Dhabi City Municipality also ensured that the illuminated structures installed as part of the Eid Al-Fitr decorations were of sizes appropriate to the dimensions and width of the streets, to ensure the safety of road users, both drivers and pedestrians.
