Abu Dhabi

In line with efforts to enhance the aesthetic appeal of public spaces, improve the visual quality of infrastructure, and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s status as one of the world’s most beautiful cities, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality continues to advance beautification and development projects across the emirate. As part of these efforts, the Municipality has completed the development of the 1.7-kilometer median strip along Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street to enhance the city's visual charm and upgrade its infrastructure using state-of-the-art sustainable technologies.
This initiative reflects the Municipality's commitment to adopting global best practices for infrastructure development and urban beautification while aligning with environmental sustainability standards.
The project featured innovative beautification works using modern fixed-sand technology across a 6,500-square-meter area, significantly improving the road’s visual appeal and ensuring long-term durability. Additionally, a new irrigation network was installed to support efficient water usage in line with conservation standards and resource management principles. Seasonal flowers were planted to add vibrant, natural beauty to the median and adjacent roadways.
