Abu Dhabi

To preserve the health and safety of community members, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the Urban Planning Sector - Environment, Health and Safety Department, carried out an inspection and awareness campaign on wedding halls in Al Shahama and Al Wathba. The campaign aimed to ensure compliance with environmental and general safety requirements in the halls, maintain the environment and general safety in them and educate the public and employees about environmental and general safety requirements.
The campaign included visits to the Al Shahama wedding hall and the Al Wathba wedding hall to inspect the environmental and public safety requirements in the halls and to raise awareness among the public and employees about the environmental and public safety requirements that must be met to ensure the safety of its visitors from members of the community.
During the campaign, municipal inspectors worked to ensure the availability and effectiveness of firefighting equipment. They also checked that the wires, connections, and electrical panels were safe and suitable. Additionally, they ensured sufficient gathering points in appropriate areas, first-aid kits were available, and evacuation plans, and emergency numbers were clearly visible to visitors.
In addition, municipal inspectors made sure that there were no obstacles in the emergency entrances and exits, that fire extinguishers and firefighting equipment were available and ready for use, and that the hall managers were instructed to have the fire extinguishers inspected regularly by a specialized company to ensure their efficiency, readiness, and suitability for use at any time to avoid any emergency risks.
