
The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized, a virtual workshop on occupational health and safety requirements in the construction sector and the submission of mandatory forms in the Performance Program. The workshop targeted contracting companies and consulting offices operating in Abu Dhabi. This workshop is part of Abu Dhabi City Municipality's efforts to raise awareness of the requirements of the Abu Dhabi Occupational Health and Safety System for the construction sector.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness among construction companies and consulting offices operating in Abu Dhabi, including contracting companies and consulting offices, of the importance of submitting mandatory reports and forms on time, how to avoid errors when submitting mandatory reports in the Performance Program, and raising awareness of the importance of ensuring occupational health and safety requirements at construction sites to ensure the safety of workers.
The workshop included a lecture and discussions on guiding attendees to accurately submit mandatory reports (E, E4, and F). The workshop also reviewed the types of mandatory reports and how to submit them correctly. Examples were also presented on how to upload forms to the performance system. It also highlighted recurring incorrect comments, common errors, and how to avoid them to ensure accurate information and accurate reporting.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality also called on workshop participants and all companies operating in the construction sector in Abu Dhabi to commit to submitting mandatory performance reports to the performance system. It urged contracting companies and consulting offices classified as "high-risk" to enhance their commitment to implementing occupational health and safety standards at construction sites to preserve the safety of their workers and contribute to providing all required requirements and mandatory reports on time.
