The municipality, through the Al Wathba Municipality Center, organized the "Summer with Us" event at Al Wathba Park to delight park visitors. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, Lulu Hypermarket, and City Construction Company. The event included various entertainment activities, workshops, and educational competitions. Among them were face-painting, seminars for children, story-reading sessions, educational workshops on tree conservation, and encouragement for children to engage in planting activities. Additionally, winners and participants were awarded numerous competitions, prizes, and gifts.
The Al Wathba Municipal Community Center in Baniyas organized the "Summer with Us" event to delight senior citizens under the theme "Bani Yas Community Caravan: Awareness - Sports - Entertainment." The event was conducted in collaboration with several entities, including the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Al Forsan Resort, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, and Integrated Transport Center.
The event included organizing weekly Quran memorization circles for both men and women, workshops on safety awareness and fire prevention, home gardening using pottery and pottery painting, and educational sessions on food waste reduction. Additionally, there were various sports and entertainment activities tailored for senior citizens.
