In line with Abu Dhabi City Municipality's participation and engagement in "World Energy Day," the Environment, Health, and Safety Department at the Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Jumeirah International for Consulting and Engineering Studies Office, organized an awareness workshop at the municipality's headquarters. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among the municipality's employees on the importance of reducing energy consumption, adopting best practices to promote energy conservation, and achieving sustainability standards and high efficiency in using renewable energy.
The workshop highlighted the significance of energy in daily life and promoted sustainable practices in energy consumption and production. It also addressed the global challenges of securing renewable and clean energy sources and reducing reliance on traditional sources contributing to pollution and climate change.
Additionally, the workshop provided a comprehensive explanation of the concept and pillars of social, economic, and environmental sustainability, the global sustainability goals, their importance for future generations, their impact, and how to achieve them
