Abu Dhabi

To promote community responsibility and encourage individual participation in maintaining public facilities to ensure their sustainability, quality, and efficiency, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through all subsidiary centers and Municipal Community Centers, launched a field campaign titled "Public Assets: A Shared Responsibility." In cooperation with Tadweer Group and several schools, this campaign targeted all residents, school students, and visitors to parks, gardens, and sports walkways in various areas within the municipality's jurisdiction.
The campaign included field visits to numerous parks, gardens, and sports walkways in different areas. It aimed to educate all community members on safeguarding public properties, facilities, and equipment and maintaining cleanliness. This is viewed as a shared responsibility to ensure these spaces retain operational efficiency and maintain a civilized appearance, ultimately enhancing community well-being.
Over the five-day campaign, teams visited many schools. They organized a series of workshops to educate and raise students' awareness of community responsibility and their duty to protect public facilities and their cleanliness, contributing to a healthier, more aesthetically pleasing environment. This initiative also helps reduce environmental impact and protect public resources from waste or damage.
Additionally, the campaign featured the wide distribution of awareness materials on the municipality’s official social media accounts and the "Freejna" app. It aimed to inform community members and encourage them to fulfill their role in maintaining public facilities, equipment, and overall cleanliness and appearance so that they remain modern recreational facilities that bring joy to all.
