To enhance the aesthetic and civilized appearance of mosque gardens during the holy month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector, completed maintenance and upgrading work on 70 mosque gardens on Abu Dhabi Island and external cities within the geographical scope of the municipality.
The work aimed to highlight the mosque gardens in the most beautiful way during the holy month of Ramadan, and provide a suitable environment for worshipers, in a way that enhances the standards of sustainability, quality of life and the general aesthetic appearance, and is in line with the civilized and urban renaissance witnessed by Abu Dhabi.
The maintenance work, which was carried out in all the gardens that witnessed the work, included cutting and defining the green spaces and soil covers, weeding and fertilizing flowers, as well as reviewing the connections of irrigation water networks, reviewing the lighting assets in the mosque gardens, in addition to carrying out fertilization operations for the agricultural elements in these gardens.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality works continuously throughout the year to maintain and improve the efficiency of public parks, gardens, mosque gardens, and residential neighborhood gardens located within its geographical scope, which have been implemented according to the highest international specifications, to maintain their full efficiency and civilized appearance, and to provide their visitors with happiness and positive energy, and allow them to spend enjoyable family times, within a safe recreational environment that preserves everyone's safety.
