Abu Dhabi
In collaboration with our strategic partners, Abu Dhabi Police GHQ (Musaffah Police Office), Burjeel Medical Group, Cambridge School, and ICAD Residential City, Abu Dhabi City Municipality organized an awareness raising event titled "Our Environment Is Our Identity" through Musaffah Municipality Center, with the goal of preserving a clean environment and reinforcing sustainability principles and standards. The event was conducted in neighboring Abu Dhabi City Municipality facilities (Musaffah walkway - Souk Bazaar Musaffah) and was aimed at all individuals residing near the Municipality Center.
The event’s goals were to raise community members’ awareness regarding environmental issues, foster the sense of individual and collective responsibility to preserve environmental resources, and spread positive behaviours that go hand in hand with the principles and standards of environmental sustainability.
During the event, which witnessed the involvement of Cambridge School students, participants worked on planting seedlings.
Also, students were offered several awareness raising workshops that focused on maintaining the general cleanliness and aesthetics of the city, which significantly enhances the environment. Furthermore, participants made wall paintings representing key landmarks in Abu Dhabi Emirate using environmentally friendly dyes.
The event wrapped up with students receiving gifts. A remarkable turnout of 170 participants, hailing from various entities engaged in the event, collectively conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for this exceptional gathering. They also praised Abu Dhabi City.
