
Within the framework of the keenness of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the Infrastructure and Municipal Assets Sector, to enhance cooperation and coordination with strategic partners, achieve sustainability standards, preserve the environment, spread vegetation cover, and increase the rate of green spaces, the municipality contributed through the Al Shahama Municipality Center, and (Natural Beautification, Recreational Facilities and Forests Maintenance Department) in cooperation with (Emirates Environmental Group), and with the participation of many volunteers in the agricultural campaign that aimed to plant (1,000) diverse seedlings in Al Mafraq Forest - Dubai-Mafraq Road.
This initiative aims to expand the green area, reduce carbon emissions, provide a safe environment for the happiness and well-being of society, enhance the aesthetic and general appearance, raise the efficiency of infrastructure assets, enhance partnership with external parties to achieve sustainable development and effective participation, and encourage agriculture among all members of society.
