Abu Dhabi City Municipality has proudly announced the acquisition of seven additional international standard certificates, along with the successful renewal of 11 certificates in 2023. These achievements underscore the Municipality's steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards in all its activities and services, aligning with the best global practices.
The Municipality has successfully acquired the ISO 22301:2019 certificate for Business Continuity Management Systems, aimed at identifying requirements to minimize the likelihood of incidents and mitigate their impact. Additionally, it has obtained the ISO 24082:2021 TS certification for Service Excellence, focusing on delivering outstanding and intelligent services to achieve customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the ISO 30401:2018 certification for Knowledge Management Systems was also secured, outlining key standards for encompassing, maintaining, and disseminating knowledge, crucial for achieving organizational goals.
Furthermore, the Municipality attained the ISO 56002:2019 certificate for Innovation Management System, by fostering an environment conducive to innovative ideas and solutions through the implementation of various standards. It also secured the ISO 22000:2018 certification for Food Safety Management, further ensuring the delivery of safe products to consumers and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
Among the other achievements of the Municipality is acquiring an ISO Certificate No. 18295-2017 for Customer contact centres, in deep appreciation of the effective role its call centers provide in answering all inquiries from customers in the Abu Dhabi Emirate and assisting them to enhance their experience via innovative methods. And it also acquired ISO: 20400:2017, for sustainable procurement systems, which aims to boost institutions’ capabilities to develop and implement sustainable procurement practices, to reach sustainable results.
On the other side, the renewed certificates included the following: ISO 55001:2014 for Asset Management Systems, ISO 41001:2018, for Facility Management, ISO 9001:2015 for quality management systems, ISO 31000:2018 for Risk Management Systems, ISO 20121:2012 for Event Sustainability Management Systems, ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management systems, ISO 10002:2018 for Customer Satisfaction and Complaints Handling, ISO 50001:2018 for Energy Management Systems, ISO PAS 99 for Integrated Management Systems, and ISO 26000:2010 for Guidance on social responsibility.
Abu Dhabi City Municipality confirms its pride in this achievement, which comes as a result of the guidance from Senior Management and as a consequence of its persistent work in achieving its vision and goals. This includes enhancing the global leadership of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, reflecting its ongoing interest in adopting the best practices and applying global standards in all fields.
