This is to provide the community with the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic and clean environment and to ensure that the beaches in Abu Dhabi remain attractive and ideal destinations for people of all ages who love open spaces and water and beach sports. The municipality offers modern and elegant facilities that align with the sophistication of the capital city of Abu Dhabi. It provides services that cater to the needs of individual visitors and families, aiming to contribute to the overall happiness of society and improve the quality of life for all.
The municipality has also made efforts to raise awareness among beach visitors about the importance of preserving the environment and the overall appearance of the beaches. This includes properly disposing of waste in designated places, taking care of public assets and beach facilities (such as playgrounds, gardens, walkways, chairs, umbrellas, etc.), and not causing any damage to ensure that they remain fully functional to serve and delight the public.
During a field campaign titled "Our Beaches Smile," the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, along with the City Municipality Center and the Al Shahama Municipality Center, worked together with Basateen Gardens Landscaping Company to implement the campaign on the beaches within the geographical scope of the two centers.
The municipality's teams conducted field visits to the targeted beaches as part of the campaign. Public awareness was also raised through the municipality's official social media accounts. Several posts were published urging the public to help preserve the beaches, their modern facilities, and their beautiful appearance. This effort aligns with the urban and urban renaissance witnessed by Abu Dhabi.
