Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced that as a key highlight of the 2023 event calendar, Al Tawajud Al Baladi Center – Baniyas in conjunction with strategic partners, is orchestrating the "Bani Yas Summer Event." This event, primarily aimed at for the age group aged 8-14, seeks to creatively utilize their leisure time during the summer season, with Event running from July 10 to August 4, 2023.
The introductory activities that precede the main program of the convoy will start on July 8, when Novo Cinema - Bawabat Al Sharq Mall will receive 60 male and female students with their parents attending to watch a cartoon movie in one of the cinema halls as a free contribution provided by Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, aiming to spend family time between parents and between Children, during this event, memorial photos were taken with the participation of the cartoon character "Amouna" from Majid TV.
The Event comprises a wide array of educational, recreational, and sports programs, encompassing activities like swimming lessons, shooting, horse riding, jiu-jitsu, The Holy Quran memorization, arts, and traditional crafts. Participating children will be a part of the "Active Hub" program, coordinated by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council during summer at community schools. The "Little Preacher" workshops, facilitated by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, are hosted by the Family Development Foundation, offering activities such as Tajweed competition, The Holy Quran memorization, heritage workshops, and arts, courtesy of the Emirates Heritage Club.
Additionally, the Event itinerary includes enjoyable trips and activities such as horse riding and archery at Al Forsan Resort. The program further incorporates excursions to Yas Entertainment City in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Centre in Abu Dhabi. Bawabat Al Sharq Mall hosts the Event's inauguration, while the closing ceremony will take place at the Forment Hotel in Abu Dhabi, with parents of participating students attending the event.
