As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the significance of agriculture and greenery in enhancing quality of life, promoting sustainability, expanding green spaces, and fostering a clean, healthy environment, Abu Dhabi City Municipality—through the Municipal Community Center in Al-Falah—organized an awareness initiative titled "Our Green School." This initiative, directed at female students from Al-Maha Girls School, Grade 9, was conducted in collaboration with Basateen Landscaping.
During the initiative, students were given an overview of the essential role that agriculture and tree planting play in enhancing life quality, promoting sustainability, and contributing to natural beautification. The discussion highlighted the positive impact of expanding green spaces on the environment and the community's well-being. Additionally, the students participated in planting decorative saplings at the school's entrance and laying down green lawns in the school's backyards.
The initiative also included a brief introduction to the Municipal Community Center in Al-Falah, familiarizing students with the services the center provides to the public and local residents to ensure their comfort and well-being.
