Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through its Urban Planning Sector – Environment, Health, and Safety Department, organized a virtual workshop on occupational health and safety requirements in the construction sector and accurately submitted mandatory forms in the performance system. The goal was to raise awareness among consultants and contractors about the importance of timely submission of required reports and forms to ensure the safety of workers at construction sites.
The municipality urged workshop participants and all companies operating in the construction sector in Abu Dhabi to comply with the accurate and proper submission of mandatory performance reports through the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center's performance system. Examples of common reporting errors were presented to help participants avoid them during submissions.
The workshop provided an overview of the performance system and showcased the different types of mandatory reports and how they should be submitted, especially for new companies. Additionally, examples were shared on how to upload forms in the system, highlighting frequent incorrect observations and standard errors and how to avoid them to ensure accurate information delivery and report submission, allowing companies to obtain approvals as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality encouraged construction companies and consultancy offices classified as high-risk to strengthen their commitment to applying occupational health and safety standards at construction sites, ensuring worker safety, and submitting all required documents and reports on time.
