The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, organized the “My City is More Beautiful” event at Al Adla Park to enhance environmental awareness, promote a culture of cleanliness and environmental preservation, and encourage community responsibility through the active participation of students and families in volunteer and environmental activities. The program included an educational lecture on hydroponic farming in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and students from Al Ahed School – Emirates Schools Establishment took part in a practical activity to plant seedlings, followed by the distribution of seedlings to participants. The event also witnessed the contribution of Agthia Group, which distributed drinking water to attendees, highlighting the importance of partnership between government and private entities in supporting environmental and community initiatives.
As part of this effort, Abu Dhabi City Municipality encouraged community members to play an active role in preserving public and recreational spaces, strengthening social responsibility, and ensuring these facilities remain sustainable and continue to serve and enrich the community.
