As part of the "Um Saeed" initiative, launched by the Department of Municipalities and Transport to preserve the city's aesthetic appearance and enhance quality of life standards, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through Zayed City Municipality Center and Al Wathba Municipality Center, organized the "Abu Dhabi is beautiful" event in collaboration with several strategic partners.
The event aimed to raise awareness among school students about the importance of maintaining public appearance and to enhance community awareness and responsibility among individuals to play their role in preserving the city's aesthetic appearance and addressing negative aspects that may affect the overall civilized and aesthetic appearance.
In this context, Zayed City Municipality Center conducted the "Abu Dhabi is beautiful" event in Rabdan Park, targeting school students, residents, and senior citizens, in cooperation with Darwish bin Karam School, Rabdan School, and Faham Doors Company.
During the event, municipal teams educated school students and community members about public appearance laws and raised their awareness about the optimal use of community facilities and ways to enhance the quality of life and the aesthetic appearance of public facilities.
The event also included beautifying several areas with various agricultural seedlings and planting dozens of seedlings around schools with student participation, where senior citizens contributed to teaching and training students on the correct methods of gardening.
On the other hand, Al Wathba Municipality Center organized the "Abu Dhabi is beautiful" event in Al Adla Park and Al Kadi Park in Al Shamkha, to raise awareness among school students about the importance of maintaining public appearance, in cooperation with (Tadweer), Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and several schools within the center's geographical scope.
The event featured several workshops and educational lectures targeting school students to enhance their awareness of the laws, methods, and importance of preserving the city's aesthetic and civilized appearance. The event also included several motivational educational competitions among school students, with awards for winners and participants.
