Social responsibility is a relatively recent concept that began to crystallize in the fifties of the twentieth century in Western countries. Despite this, the United Arab Emirates made great strides in this field represented in environmental, social and economic sustainability projects. Al Ain City Municipality works under the umbrella of the Department of Municipalities and Transport to monitor its development activities and projects to ensure that these activities do not affect the environment and society. Community members in development projects through population meetings and community visits, and spreading the culture and concepts of social responsibility among its affiliates and partners to provide distinguished services to customers of all segments and apply the best international practices in this field.
