Since its opening in 2002, Mubazzarah Al Khadra Park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Al Ain, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment for visitors to enjoy natural landscapes and entertainment facilities, making it an ideal destination for a memorable outing.
Located in the Jebel Hafeet area, the park spans 3.3 square kilometers beneath limestone mountains. It was established following the directives of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, who envisioned it as a prime tourist destination. The park's natural hot springs make it a therapeutic and touristic haven for both residents and visitors of Al Ain.
The park provides an ideal setting for picnics, walking, and outdoor sports activities, making it a preferred family destination. Visitors can enjoy various amenities, including barbecue areas and children's play zones.
Managed by Al Ain Municipality, the park and its recreational and service facilities host festivals and events throughout the year in collaboration with community institutions. Since the beginning of this year, six events and festivals have been held, with additional celebrations planned for December in honor of the UAE's 53rd National Day.
In October, Mubazzarah Al Khadra will host an entertainment festival featuring a wide range of activities suitable for all community members, offering an exciting outdoor experience for visitors.
Key park features include the "chalets" with stunning views of Jebel Hafeet, and the salt cave, an exceptional experience aimed at purifying and rejuvenating the body by inhaling fine salt particles, which are invisible to the naked eye. Visitors can also enjoy boat rowing in the park's lake, where they can feed ducks and fish, or experience the "Mubazzarah Mountain Slide," which provides a unique view of the park while offering a safe sliding adventure.
To further enhance the park’s beauty, Al Ain Municipality has expanded the green areas, bringing the total number of trees to 6,161. The municipality also carries out regular maintenance throughout the year to sustain the park's services and facilities. This includes continuous care for the green spaces, soil covers, planting seasonal flowers, maintaining palm trees and other trees, and cleaning the facilities to ensure visitor safety and satisfaction.
