During the first quarter of 2024, Al Ain City Municipality completed more than 74,000 digital transactions, representing 99.96% of the municipality's total transactions, while manual transactions accounted for 0.04% of all transactions completed during the same period.
Mohammed Hareb Al Ketbi, Director of e-Services and Communication Department at Al Ain City Municipality, explained that this achievement comes within the framework of the Department of Municipalities and Transport's aim at digitalizing all its transactions through digital platforms, which in turn contributed to the rapid completion of requests and easy access to services according to simplified and unified procedures.
Al Ketbi added that the number of manual transactions decreased this year compared to last year, as the number of manual transactions amounted to 18 transactions for 2024 compared to 338 manual transactions during the same period last year.
Al Ketbi explained that according to the statistics of the first quarter of this year, the most requested digital services by customers of Al Ain City Municipality were those related to purchasing subsidized foodstuffs with 10276 transactions, renewing a lease contract with 7405 transactions, registering a new lease contract with 4854 transactions, requesting a land plan with 4036 transactions, and requesting a title deed with 3767 transactions.
The municipality also released the statistics of the cases received in the Customer Relations System (TAMM) for the first quarter 2024, where the number of cases received amounted to more than 10,000 cases, and the most frequent cases are inquiries, which amounted to more than 3700 cases, then a service request, which amounted to more than 3200 requests, more than 2500 reports, and more than 260 cases of praise received in the first quarter 2024.
On the other hand, Al Ain City Municipality launched new digital services during the first quarter of 2024, including (permit to install a temporary Ramadan tent, permit to install a charitable Ramadan tent, animal registration services, and booking Al Ain Municipality Theater).
