Al Ain has been decorated with over 2.3 million seasonal flowers, known for their vibrant colors, fragrant scents, and harmonious sizes and color gradations.
Al Ain City Municipality has completed the planting of flowers in 3,809 flower beds, covering an area of more than 112,633 square meters in the heart of the city and its borders. The flowers were arranged in a distinctive and attractive design, transforming the city into an open garden.
Engineer Hessa Bati Al Maamari – Manager of Project– said: "The list of flowers planted in the city includes more than 15 varieties, containing: petunia, marigold, zinnia, purslane, alyssum, sunflower, verbena, snapdragon, celosia, dahlia, portulaca, hollyhock, gladiolus, vinca, amaranthus, gold marigold, zinnia, gomphrena, kochia, glaradia, and celosia petunia, among others. She noted that the municipality carefully selected colors that highlight the aesthetic gradation of the species used, creating large floral areas with unique colors that enhance the design's beauty when viewed."

The Maqam and Al Amerah areas featured flower plantings in locations such as Khazna Park, Salamat Park, Ramah Bridge, Ramah Park, Khalifa bin Zayed Street, Maqam Palace Entrance, Maqam Hills, Batain Bridge, Maqam Park, Al Amerah North Park, Al Amerah South Park, the median island of Al Amerah Street, Al Amerah Entrance, and other sites.

In the central city, flower planting covered streets including: Zayed I, Khalifa, Hamdan bin Mohammed, Nahda, Conferences, Mohamed bin Khalifa, Shakhbout bin Sultan, the Municipality Building, and other vital sites in the city center.
