Al Ain City Municipality has provided 17 barbecue spots in several public parks and recreational areas to make it easier for visitors and the public to enjoy their time and practice barbecuing in these designated areas. It also emphasizes the importance of visitors and the public to be responsible while using the parks and adhering to the guidelines and instructions provided at each location.
The barbecue spots are distributed across four main sectors in Al Ain city: 7 spots in the northern sector, 3 in the western sector, 6 in the central city, and 1 in the southern sector.
The municipality has designated the following locations for barbecuing in Al Ain city: Nahil Park, Ramah Park for families, Khazna Park for families, Al Hayer Recreation Park, Al Faqa Park for families, Al Shawayb Park, Al Quo Park for families, Hili Archaeological Park, and Al Silimi Park. Other locations include Al Hayer Park, Al Foah Park, Al Faqa Public Park, Mubazzara, Al Hayer Oasis Park, Al Salamat Park, Mureijib Park, and Al Sarouj Park.
The municipality urges the public not to use charcoal or wood burning equipment in areas where barbecuing is not allowed, and to only use the designated stone and cement grills, to ensure the safety of park visitors by not making fires excessively large. They also encourage visitors to leave the area clean, maintain the general appearance, and preserve the environment.
