"Ramadan in Al Ain" events organized by Al Ain City Municipality launched yesterday evening at the main building’s courtyard, in partnership with government institutions and the private sector.
These events are part of the municipality's community initiatives during the "Year of Community," aiming to bring joy to the community by providing a comprehensive entertainment experience throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.
Khalifa Al Saadi, Head of the Communication Department at Al Ain City Municipality, stated that the "Ramadan in Al Ain" events, held for the first time, include a variety of activities. These activities cover a market area, a food and café zone, a dedicated children's area featuring workshops, traditional games, and electronic games, in addition to photo session spots. There will also be daily Ramadan evenings with celebrities from the fields of arts, sports, literature, media, and society, along with daily competitions and prizes, and other activities catering to all segments of the community.
He further explained that the municipality aims to offer Ramadan activities that are suitable for all family members. The "Ramadan in Al Ain" event will span ten days, from the 7th to the 16th of Ramadan, and will include a special evening titled "Hishmat Al-Dar" in celebration of International Women’s Day, featuring traditional Emirati attire, as well as another titled "In Love with Al Ain," which will host personalities connected to the city’s history to share stories of Al Ain’s past and some of its memories.
