Al Ain City Municipality of has announced the readiness of its service and recreational sectors as part of its preparations to welcome the blessed Eid Al Fitr.
These preparations are in line with the municipality’s plan to continue providing services to residents and visitors, in line with the Department of Municipalities and Transport’s strategy to deliver services using best practices that ensure customer satisfaction for the Al Ain community during the Eid holiday.
Hazam Abdullah Al Dhaheri, Director of the Public Health Department at Al Ain City Municipality, emphasized that the municipality is focused on enhancing services for shoppers and visitors to the Central Al Ain Market for fish and vegetables, both before and during Eid. They are also intensifying regulatory efforts on non-food establishments, particularly in beauty salons, laundries, and repair workshops, to ensure compliance with health and professional standards, in coordination with strategic partners and relevant authorities.
He added that the municipality has launched a special campaign to ensure that all public restrooms across various areas are operational and ready, including automatic restrooms in central Al Ain.
Al Dhaheri further explained that the municipality, through its Public Health Department, is working in two shifts, both morning and evening, to facilitate responses to inquiries, complaints, and public service. Inspection teams have been deployed across Al Ain to conduct regular visits to non-food establishments to ensure adherence to specialized regulations in laundries, checking for the use of approved detergents for washing and packaging clothes. Additionally, they are ensuring the readiness of men’s and women’s beauty centers to welcome customers, ensuring compliance with general and specialized health regulations. The municipality is also monitoring the readiness of playgrounds for children’s activities during the Eid days and conducting regular visits to repair workshops to ensure proper uniforms are worn and specialized workshop standards are applied, guaranteeing the safety of both workers and clients.
The municipality’s preparations also include conducting intensive cleaning campaigns to monitor overall cleanliness procedures and maintain the aesthetic appearance of the area, in anticipation of receiving visitors to facilities during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
