The award aims to recognize outstanding teams that have achieved notable accomplishments in asset management through the implementation of global best practices and standards. It highlights effective teamwork in asset management, as well as innovation in enhancing asset efficiency and performance to create sustainable value for organizations, while adhering to international standards such as ISO 55000.
It is one of the specialized awards that highlights institutional excellence and the ability of asset management teams in the United Arab Emirates to achieve tangible results.

Al Ain City Municipality, represented by the Environment, Health and Safety Department, received the 2026 International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, achieving a Distinction rating among an elite group of 855 organizations worldwide.
The award reflects the level to which organizations implement occupational health and safety requirements in the workplace. It is held annually and attracts organizations from all sectors around the world. Each year, new requirements are introduced, and participating organizations must demonstrate the extent of their compliance with each requirement and provide evidence of adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
